EGR System Malfunction
Area
Open in EGR gas temperature sensor circui
Open in VSV circuit for EGR
EGR vacuum hose disconnected or valve stuck
Clogged in EGR gas passage
Engine Control Module(ECM)
Diagnosis
With the engine coolant temperature at 60’C (140’F) or more, 240 seconds from start of EGR operation.
The EGR gas temperature is less than 55’C (131’F) and the EGR gas temperature has risen less than 20’C (36’F) during the 240 seconds.
